March 1st, 2010This is a general warning to everyone. A malicious virus / website has infected several FLC members computers, and is using their accounts to send out links so it can spread the infection. DO NOT CLICK any links sent to you by anyone, unless you KNOW forsure that the link is legit. Links for free steam games, and cheat codes, etc.. should be avoided.
DO NOT TYPE your STEAM PASSWORD on any webpage. The only place you need to ever type your steam password is when logging into steam.
If you have been infected by this, you will be logged out of your steam account. If you instantly re-enter your steam password into your steam account (the program, not the phishing website) and log back in, you can get it back, and you should head directly to your account settings and change your password. Also, be sure to report this phishing attempt to steam.
